FRUIT CARE (BLUE BERRIES)


Blueberries are one of the most popular fruit that contains useful antioxidant, fiber, potassium, folate, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6 and phytonutrient content.  Blueberries all contribute to building and maintaining bone structure and strength.
The fiber in blueberries helps lower the total amount of cholesterol in the blood and decrease the risk of heart disease.  They are sweet, succulent, full of nutrients, and can be eaten freshly picked as well as incorporated into a variety of recipes.

The super fruit is filled with fats that are good for you, specifically monounsaturated fat, which helps to lower bad cholesterol. This is because avocados are high in beta-sitosterol, according to Cohen, which is a compound that lowers blood cholesterol levels.

African pear or Bush pear is usually found in a number of African countries. Nigerians always eat it with corn. The oval shaped fruit has its flesh in butter form when roasted or boiled. In Igbo land, it is known as (Ube).
Other names include bush pear and butter-fruit. The African pear tree is used by traditionalists for producing herbal medicines, which are used for treating several health disorders such as fever, wounds, dysentery, sores and skin diseases.
It was revealed that the extracts of this fruit contains antioxidizing, diuretic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-hypertensive, anti sickle-cell and anti-spasmodic properties.
