THE FASTEST WAY TO MAKE YOUR BABY GAIN WEIGHT II

Soy bean-Unripe plantain-Groundnut is one of the foods that make a baby gain weight faster depending on how you prepare it. It contains lots of protein, as well as a good source of iron, omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fiber, vitamins B2 and K, potassium and other nutrients needed for baby's growth and development. It is recommended for babies from 6months and above.

Ingredients:
Unripe plantain
Soybeans
Groundnuts- already fried
Crayfish/cashew nuts optional
METHOD
-         First get your soybeans and select it, by removing stone and dirt out, wash with clean water and dry in the sun.
-         With your unripe plantain, peel and cut into flat chips and sun-dry, you can equally use oven to dry it or use a pot and lower the heat.
-         After you have dried the soybeans, pick the bad bean seeds from the bulk out before frying, pour it in dried pot or frying pan and fry. Fry till the skin can be easily peeled off.  When it is brown and crispy just like fried ground nuts, that shows it is done.
-         Spread on a tray to cool.

-         Fry your peanuts or buy ready-made, from the market.
-         Tie each ingredient separately.
-         With the heavy duty blender or miller, loosen the grinder and pass the soybeans through once to separate the skin/chaff from the beans. Then carefully blow away the skin.
-         Then grind everything together including the crayfish. Grind till smooth.
-          Spread out on a tray to cool before storing in containers.

-         Take to the mill for grinding (at the mill, it will be slightly processed to remove the skin/chaff). Add the groundnuts and plantain to the clean soybeans and grind to powder.
          -   Store in an air-tight container

  4. The food does not need preservatives. After blending, pack into an air tight container. It can stay as long as three(3) months or more.

You can add a teaspoon of the mixture into your babies Pap/Ogi/Akamu, Cereals, tea e.t.c
