ETHIOPIAN RECIPES (BEEF TIB)

  Beef tib is one of the delicious meals in Ethiopia. There are different methods in preparing this.
Ingredients
-          Beef, narrow piece
-         Onions sliced
-         Kibbeh (spiced butter)

    -         Salt
    -          Sunflower oil  
    -         Garlic and ginger, chopped
    -         Green pepper, slice
    -         Turmeric
Method
    -         Wash and cut the beef in a zigzag style.
    -         In a hot pan with oil, cook the beef strips, add a little kibbeh and cook for about 8minutes.
    -         Lower the heat and continue to cook until the beef gets a little more crispy. Then remove from the heat and get a pan to start the sauce. Use the oil from the beef to start the sauce. This adds a great taste.

    -         Then add the sliced onions, stir often, add the lid and cook for 6 minutes.
    -         Add a little more oil, ginger, garlic and turmeric powder, stir  and lower the heat and cook for 5minutes, stirring often.
    -         After a while add the beef, a little salt, kibbeh and cold water. Mix well, and cook on a low heat for 10minutes. After that, add little more water and cook for another 15minutes.
    -         If the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened that means it is ready to add the chili.
     -         Serve hot.
