cup couscous

1⁄4 cup finely ground
pistachio nut

cups fruit juice

1⁄2 cup finely ground
blanched almond

tablespoons melted sweet butter

tablespoons rose water

1⁄2 cup powdered sugar
- 11⁄2 tablespoon cinnamon

11⁄2
cup candy-covered almonds (kufeta)
Directions

Add
rose water and fruit juice to a boil, add couscous, stir and cover.

Let it stand for 20minutes after removing
from heat. Fluff with a fork.

Melt the sweet butter and rub well into
grains 3tablespoon.

Combine couscous with 1/4 cup each
finely ground blanched almonds and pistachio nuts.

Mound on serving platter and sprinkle with
mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Garnish with kufeta (candy-coated
almonds) and pomegranate seeds.
