EGYPTIAN SWEET COUSCOUS DESSERT


      
         Ingredient
        -        1 cup couscous
         -         14 cup finely ground pistachio nut
         -         3 cups fruit juice

         -         12 cup finely ground blanched almond 
         -         4  tablespoons melted sweet butter
         -         2 tablespoons rose water
         -         12 cup powdered sugar
         -          112 tablespoon cinnamon
         -         112 cup candy-covered almonds (kufeta)
         -         12 cup pomegranate seeds, if in season

        Directions

      -            Add  rose water and fruit juice to a boil, add couscous, stir and cover.
      -         Let it stand for 20minutes after removing from heat. Fluff with a fork.
      -         Melt the sweet butter and rub well into grains 3tablespoon.   
      -         Combine couscous with 1/4 cup each finely ground blanched almonds and pistachio nuts.
      -         Mound on serving platter and sprinkle with mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon.
      -          Garnish with kufeta (candy-coated almonds) and pomegranate seeds.
