HOW TO MAKE OKPA WAWA


Making of Okpa does not require much seasoning because it already has a natural delicious flavor that should not ruin.
Ingredients

4 cups okpa flour
10 tablespoons palm oil
Stock cubes
Salt to taste
Habanero pepper
Luke warm water
Directions
  1.   Prepare the banana leaf for wrapping the okpa, wash thoroughly with salt water or you can also use transparent bag or foil bag as those use for moi moi.
  2.   Crush the stock cubes and slice the habanero pepper, swift the flour into a sizeable blow, add salt and crushed stock cubes and stir.
  3.   Add palm oil and mix it very till the palm oil is well mixed with the flour.   


  4.   Set some water to boil on a stove, add the luke warm water and mix together, stir until there is no loops or better use swift to pass it on.
 5.   After that, add the rest of the water so that the okpa will not be too strong.
  6.   Add the slice habanero pepper and add salt if necessary, make sure the water is boiling; get some of wrappers to form a base to the pot.
  7.   Fold the wrappers to the shape of your choice. Use cup to take the okpa, then pour the liquid content inside the wrapper and tie the mouth.
  8.   Place inside the boiling water, cover the pot with bag and cook on low heat, after about 1hour.
Your okpa is done and now solid, ready to eat. Serve with custard, pap or you can eat it as snacks.
